Oh my God, I cannot thank you guys enough for really rallying around Neil in this past week.

Not only did you guys come through with subscriptions and

donations but the tweets the retweets the postings on Facebook and Google Plus and

telling people how much you love this magazine, you have done

wonders. I would really like to shout out to John Scalsy who blogged on his whatever, and Corey Doctorow, who threw up a post on Boing Boing,

along with Neil Gaiman, who retweeted a very desperate tweet by me,

and to each one of you who took the time to spread the word,

you have no idea how much it means to me. And I don't want to speak for Neil, but our gratitude is unending.

Thank you for making me believe in community and protecting one's own.

And if you are a U.S. citizen, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. And as I said in the podcast previous to this one, I am so

She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Chicago, a graduate of Clarion
