As we approach mid-November and the holiday season is

starting to ramp up, I wanted to wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving if

you're in the US. There are so many things in my life that I am so thankful for.

As most of you may have heard, Neil has had a very, very rough 2012. We almost lost him in July of 2012 at ReaderCon when he suffered a major heart attack.

He's a fighter and strong, but the universe wasn't done with him. Upon arriving home from

Boston, he realized he had a kidney stone and then a tooth issue.

And within the last three weeks he's found out that he needs a defibrillator for his ongoing hard issues.

His family was left without power for over nine days from Hurricane Sandy.

And upon getting power back at his job he was let go. I am so

hoping that when we ring in 2013 Neil is not only crowned king of the

universe.
