Summary
Julia and Eliza finally confront the question: is Ronald Reagan responsible for all the world's evils? To investigate, the girlies delve into Reaganomics, the groundbreaking idea to give rich people more money, and trace how its legacy has trickled down into the capitalist swamp we all wade through today. The girlies also examine Reagan's abysmal impact on human life including his murderously indifferent AIDS response, his systematic defunding of welfare, his IDGAF environmental policies, and many other evils. Digressions include Eliza's upcoming consultation with a pet psychic, Australians getting mad at vowels, and a callback to Nancy the throat goat.

You just told me that you're seeing a pet psychic tomorrow. Please speak on it. Okay. Well, Rain got this for me for my birthday, which I think is like a really incredible gift from someone who knows me very well. It would be really bad to see a pet psychic if that doesn't work and it's not real. It's like seeing a bad therapist. Right. And so- puts you off of it for the rest of history. And I am a person most primed to be a total sucker for those people. Like those people could suck me dry of every scent that I had. If they said Harley wasn't happy. Oh my God, I would be bankrupt within the week. You would say, what can I do for her? Well, and I've heard that this pet psychic is really good because a friend of Raines used her because something was going on with the dog. And the pet psychic said, you're right, something is going on with the dog. The dog needs dog Reiki. And the dog received dog Reiki. |
