What was your first job?

It's one of my favorite questions to ask people whenever I meet them because the answers are so varied.

Some people say my first job was out of college I never worked.

Some people say, you know, I used to deliver the paper.

Or someone will say, you know, I was a babysitter.

It's so fascinating.

One guy was like, he told me that he used to shovel It's so fascinating.

One guy was like he told me that he used to shovel snow

and he used to get 50 cents per house for shoveling the snow.

And he would make quite a decent amount of money way back in the day when he was a kid and 50 cents meant a lot more.

I want to tell you a little bit about my first six jobs.

Now, I've always loved to work,

and I believe this is for a couple of reasons. First of all I love people. I love being around them. I love learning from them. I love interacting with them. I love people. And secondly I have a lot of energy. I feel like I've got a big capacity to do a lot of things.

I feel as if, you know, it's easy for me to take on quite a few things so long as they're interesting to me and it's a great way to use energy

and then of course number three I think it's a wonderful thing to welcome money into your life

however it shows up I think there are so many avenues to make money and sometimes we

don't even realize until we get out there, start looking and start connecting.

But I want to tell you a bit about each of my jobs and what essentially they gave me, what they gave me that is surprisingly relevant even now.

My very first job... even now.
