My mom actually was a real estate started, I mean ever since I was a kid, my mom actually was a realtor,

she's been a realtor for over 30 years now, and real estate was like always a part of our family's life,

but to be honest with you it's not like I

studied it or wanted to do it I was just always dead set on playing baseball and you

know my mom didn't try to push me in a real estate in fact she always told me to get a safe job because she didn't like that, you know,

she was only as good as her next commission.

You know, she always told me, Ryan, you should really just get a degree and go work for the government and, you know, if baseball doesn't work out, get something safe.

That was always her advice.

And so she definitely didn't want me to be a realtor or any of these things.

Well, long story short, I ended up getting drafted by the

Oakland A's in 2010. So I was, you know, living out my dream and my goal of being a

professional baseball player, but I knew that as a professional I was only

gonna make 1200 bucks a month while I was playing and you know that came out to seven thousand

dollars a year because we only played for half the year and so I'm'm like, well, you know, I'm 21 years old,

I ain't gonna live off $7,000 a year,

so I gotta go get some kind of income.

And so that's why I ended up getting into real estate in 2010 as well,

because I got my real estate license thinking that, oh, well, you know, I can just go make

commissions in the off season and if I make enough commissions that should fund my lifestyle for the entire year and I had watched my mom sell houses growing up so I'm like you know whatever it can't be that hard

Well in 2010 what I didn't realize was how difficult it was to be a real estate agent at that time.

In fact, I would argue it was the most difficult time in the history of real estate.

Seriously, I mean, if you look at the last couple of years
