Hello and welcome back to practicing human, the podcast where every day we're

0:05.2

getting a little better at life. I'm your host, Cory Muscara. In today's episode

0:11.0

we're going to talk about taking periodic breaks in order to continue doing what

0:17.9

we do best in the world. More to come on that in a moment. First let's settle

0:23.3

in together with the Sound of the Bells.

0:42.6

So this will be a shorter episode today. Primarily I want to use it to remind you

1:50.5

assess today is do you feel like you have healthy integration of exhales in

1:59.0

your life? These exhales don't need to be every three seconds like your breathing

2:05.9

pattern might be. Nor do they need to be sitting completely still and doing

2:11.2

nothing. But there should be some moments where we're not pushing so hard and

2:17.2

we're not focused solely on getting more into our experience. But instead an

2:25.6

opportunity to let something go might be a few moments of relaxing the

2:31.7

shoulders while you're at your computer. There may be taking a walk during the

2:36.7

day where you're not doing anything. It could also be sitting with your
