I'm an artist and a writer, and this is a space where I share words that I hope can make a little room for you to slow down and take a few deep breaths as you prepare for whatever lies ahead. Thanks for being here today. And now on to today's episode. Today's episode is inspired by the color
0:28.3	blue. And it's a particular piece that I painted with different blues and it reads,

0:40.8	so you can see it if you'd like. For many people, blue is a calming color. And it's actually why I
0:47.3	always recommend if someone is painting for the first time, even if it's just for fun or to clear
0:52.3	their mind, I recommend painting with blue, because for many,
0:56.2	it just has a way of bringing a sense of calm. But one thing that I love about a sense of calm
1:03.1	is that a sense of calm doesn't mean stagnant. With every breath, we move forward. We move forward in a small way. So here's a poem that I
1:15.1	wrote based on the blue shades and the painting that inspired today's episode. And I'll make sure to
1:21.8	include a link to this painting and a description in the show notes. Breathe. Let out the air. Let each breath remind you. All is passing. There is so much
1:36.1	behind you, and there is also so much ahead of you. And there is also so much to this

1:52.9	I know it can be hard to stay here, especially considering all you brought to this moment and all that lies ahead.
1:58.0	But there is freedom and peace when you take the time to breathe.
2:00.5	Breathe in courage. Breathe in the courage to stay in this moment.
2:05.2	Trust that despite all that you fear, there's something to learn right here. You are free to be
2:12.6	grounded even though you feel the ground might fall out beneath your feet. You are stronger than you think.
