Barack Obama is a new senator from Illinois

He's a young guy. He's a fresh face for the party.

They've run Al Gore and John Carey.

Two really, really lacking in charisma rich white guys and they're looking for the future.

And Obama is being groomed.

Tom Dashel is very involved in this.

But the specter of Hillary Clinton looms large

because Hillary wants to be president.

And Bill Clinton has rehabilitated himself from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

And we've now entered the second term of the George W Bush administration.

And so Democrats don't like to be out of power.

They were out of power for 12 years, two Reagan, one George H.W. Bush, and now they've had eight years of Bill Clinton, and then we're entering into the

latter half of the eight years of George W Bush. So the the Democrat Party is

looking for a new way in 2008.

They're looking for a way to win back the White House.

They can control the Senate and the House, but the White House they have to have as their prize.

So, Bill Clinton in 1992, when you actually study how he won. He won against in the modern era of

polling the most popular the highest rated president in terms of a poll that has ever been accomplished

and that was George H.W. Bush after Iraq number one in 1992 at over 90 percent I think it was 93% we've never seen that before since it was

insane and and there was a an abiding sense of support for George H.W. Bush.

Nobody loved George H.W. Bush, the way they loved Reagan and loved Trump.
