Hello listeners and welcome to another edition of Politico's Nurdcast.

This week on the nerd cast we're going to talk about the debacle unfolding in Virginia

politics right now. We have two black-faced scandals and an allegation of sexual assault hitting top three elected officials in the state,

all of whom are Democrats. We're going to talk through what's happened so far and what's going to happen

down the road, all three of them facing calls to

resign. Plus the field of Democrats thinking about the 2020 presidential

race continues to swell. Cori Booker is on that list and in the race after launching at the end of last week and

Senator Amy Klobuchar looks likely to join that roster over the weekend.

So we'll take stock of what's going on there, what these candidates are doing as they jump

in and also just the general look of the field at this moment.

All Democrats are facing big scandals and it's a story that just keeps getting worse.
