| 0:00.0 | Yeah, me, group. My kids are so much more like private and they care about what their friends think. And I kind of eddened float on what they saw at the show and how much they wanted to participate. And I feel like maybe it was around like season four. They didn't really care to begin as much. And then season five, I think they realized you got paid and they were like, we'll show up, but they're the day rates. They wanted a day rate. Hey guys, episode 206, very excited about this one. I love Stephanie and Trey. You know, Stephanie from Housewives and Trey is a wonderful real estate agent in Dallas Fort Worth, I believe. Dallas, I don't know, I'm acting like I know what I'm talking about. He's a good real estate agent. If we move there, I would use Trey. Yeah. Well, why don't you guys listen and find out maybe we touch on that a little bit, or maybe we don't enjoy it. Something that we talked about after the cruise is I am, I am on a mission now, a personal mission. I feel like I need you both on traders. Is that something you would ever do? Oh, I totally do traders. Yeah, no, we would do it. I don't know if they would have us to be quite eyes. We're so, I mean, we were on season 11 of Big Brother in 13 and now they just finished 25 or 26. So we're that older generation, you know, I think we've had our time and I've really appreciative of all the time we had and all the opportunities that came from Big Brother. Obviously our whole family being the biggest one, but as far as career goes as well. If they were willing to have us on, I think it's something that we would be willing to do as far as reality television goes. But I think there's just too many other people ahead of us on that list for right now. I think if they asked us to be on traders, they would be desperate looking for cast members and it would be on its last leg. So I think that's like when we would get the call when they're desperate. Yeah. But Stephanie, you being a housewife. I think she'd be great. Oh, if I ever did it, I would wanna be like the villain because nobody would suspect. I would wanna be like the traitor. Yes, I would wanna be the traitor. I feel like I could possibly win. I could win it. I really could. And I feel like real housewives is great training. Like it's just the whole time you're psycho analyzing everyone and trying to figure out like, yeah, I think real housewives is great training for going on traders. Housewives always make great traders. Yeah. I think I'd rather do traders than like, what's the one where you swap wife swap? |
| 2:45.9 | I'd rather do traders than wife swap. |
| 2:48.1 | Cause wife swap, I would be fine with me, |
| 2:50.5 | but I'd be concerned for Travis. I'd be like, oh, Lord Jesus, what is he, cause he is no filter. He would stride. I would be so stressed out the whole time, cause I could not. Travis with a camera without you there. |
| 3:00.2 | Yeah, because whenever we filmed, |
| 3:03.8 | I was always, you know, was careful with what I said. |
| 3:08.2 | And then he would say whatever. But then I had to, you know, he'd be like, you know, saying something, you know, about the girl that, you know, one of the girls that he believed in his heart, that he did not like her. And then I'd have to pick up the pieces at the reunion. And I'm like, I didn't even say this. Like my husband did. |
| 3:25.5 | I should not have to, yeah, you need to talk to him. This is not my thing. So he would be the one that made me super nervous. Like by far the most nervous, yeah. I think all three of you would be great on it. Stephanie has been very vocal though about how she feels like that time in her life is, that ship has sailed. like if Dallas ever came back like would you be on it again? |
| 3:46.8 | Just like no, do y'all feel like y'all would ever do reality TV again? Because it is very different today versus, you know, when I think even just when you are on TV, that the whole culture around reality TV has changed, is that something that y'all would do today given the opportunity? It's so different now. |
| 4:05.4 | I don't know. |
| 4:06.2 | It has to be the right project. |
| 4:07.3 | And I think the one that everyone's familiar without there right now would be traders because it's a short filming session. I think a lot of things change when you have children too. You know, like when we were on that show, I'm 47 now. Am I 47? I'm 47 now. I was 31 when I did that show before children. |
| 4:24.4 | I always say like, you know, Jesus BC, |
| 4:26.9 | I always say BC before children, |
| 4:29.0 | cause I'm a now. I was 31 when I did that show before children. I always say like you know Jesus BC I always say BC before children because I'm a totally different person too and back in those days I had a short temper. I was willing to just lay it all out there for the camera and not worry about the repercussions of things and now it's like I have I'm a role model to my kids more than anybody else And I don't know if I could back talk and put somebody down and embarrass them. It would really, those things would be in the back of my head before I acted as opposed to me being speaking first and thinking about it later. You know what I mean? So I wouldn't want to do anything to embarrass myself or my children for reality TV show. That would be my dilemma. I think so too. I would, I care more about my kids now. It was a, we had a good experience with reality TV, but I tell Jeff, I rather him have a career, what he's doing. He still is in television. It's not where he exactly wants to be, but you still have a career in television. I'm like, if that's what you want to do, then that's great, but it's not reality television where you're fighting with other people. Yeah, I get that. I totally agree. I think whenever I did housewives, it was, my kids were so young and I was just a real bored, if I'm going to be honest, and I wasn't looking for it, it just kind of fell into my lap, but my kids were so young and I was just a real bored if I'm going to be honest and I wasn't looking |
| 5:45.4 | for it. |
| 5:46.4 | It just kind of fell into my lap, but my kids were so young. |
| 5:50.4 | I felt comfortable doing it. |
| 5:52.4 | But now I have to ask my 16 year old permission before I post a picture of him. |
| 5:56.4 | Like he has to pay it. |
| 5:58.4 | My kids are so much more like private and they care about what their friends think. |
| 6:03.8 | And I kind of eddened float on what they saw about the show and how much they wanted to participate. And I feel like maybe it was around like season four. They didn't really care to be in as much. And then season five, I think they realized you got paid and they were like, we'll show up. But I didn't pay them a day rate. Yeah. They wanted a day rate. Yeah. I still do. If I ever have a job that our manager gets us and they are at all included, they negotiate. I had a job with a braces company and Cruz, and I needed Cruz. I needed his teeth for this job and he was like, what are you going to pay me? And I said, what do you want? Thinking he would lo-ball me and he said, well, what are you getting paid? |
