Hello, I'm Russell Kane and this is Evil Genius.

I'm going on a quest through history, looking for people that are evil and despicable,

but were profound geniuses, clever, inspirational people, or just did inconceivable amounts of good.

I want to explore that paradox between genius and evil.

I'm allowing no grey areas today. We will decide at the end of the show whether this person

is an evil or a genius. There are scales here that can only tip one way. I'm not going to be doing

that on my own, even though I'm more than capable. I was told I had to have a panel for the

contract to go through. Never mind. Let's introduce them. Join today. I'm joined by Ellie White,

a comedy writer and performer. You could see her. You would recognise her from Richardson,

the Windsor's, who she's amazing actress and she's brilliant in that. I'm also joined by Sadie

Harrison, a historian and a comedian. I might be the first time I've ever got to say that in

the same sentence. I've often been told I'm history when I'm on stage and then some

I've thrown at my head, normally through a year. And also someone I've bumped into a few times

on the circuit, remember recording, Jolly and Rubikstein, he's a BAFTA award-winning writer and

satirist co-creator of the revolution will be televised. I think I've got that right.

So before we reveal today's subject, I just want to meet you guys first.

What is it that makes you a genius, Ellie? What's your most genius? It could be a performance

you gave at drama college. It could be a geek you did once. It could be on a night out when

you were a legend and went, let's go here for 3am drinks. What's the most genius thing you've

ever done? Christ. I mean that's pretty big. Oh God.
