Evan Washburn has been working for CBS for a while as a sports reporter,

sideline reporter, and some big games.

Evan is local, lives in Annapolis, grew up, I think somewhere near Baltimore,

and was a big part of Delaware's 2007 final four run in lacrosse. We've had Evan on the show before,

enjoy his companies with us right now. Real quickly, you haven't worked one Washington game, right?

You didn't have the Chargers game back in early October, late September? Well, first of all, Kevin, that's the best lead-in. I've gotten all season long on a radio show. Well, I remember you telling me about it the last time we talked. Yeah, it's great. It's great. Good blasts in the past. A little Delaware lax is always good to get in the mix. We had one Commander's game, week three, I think it was, week three, no, four in Atlanta.

Oh, in Atlanta.

That was a CBS game.

Yeah, that was probably Michael Pennix by far and away.

I mean, it's interesting about that game, Evan, because I think back to that game,

and I said a lot of us were like, not sure if the defense really has arrived.

They've only beaten the Giants and played well against the Raiders,

and then the Falcons lit up that defense,

and it was probably the best game Michael Pennix Jr. had all year.

I think you're right.

It feels like a lifetime ago, especially I imagine for you all and the ups and downs of following the team this year.

But as you know, in this gig, after one week, it kind of flushes away and you're all in on the next week.

But it was a time where we were still riding in terms of our our coverage just everything Washington had done the previous

season and yes jaden didn't play in that game i think it was his last one before he came back from

his first spent on the sideline the vibes were still still high and and it's it's been tough to watch

from afar things go the way to have so from, the national perspective really more so than anything else,
