we're just going to keep rocking we're going to work on um safeties today because I think

there's a similar thing that happens um with the safety position especially again for myself

um I think from my perspective and again I'm safety position, especially again for myself.

I think from my perspective, and again, I'm going to do the same thing I've been doing where I'm going to give you what I've been saying, and then we're going to review it and

see how it goes.

First of all, there's an over-exaggeration of how good the safeties were.

For example, Xavier McKinney, solid, very good football player.

There's no question about it.

But we also have to remember he got a billion interceptions at the beginning of the year.

It was very quiet the last three quarters of the year.

Doesn't mean necessarily bad, but it just, it wasn't that.

The biggest one, though, is Evan Williams.

Evan Williams popped off for a few games, looked like he was going to be a stud, and I don't

want to use too strong a language, but very obviously stopped being that good. And I don't know that anybody

really noticed or chose not to notice or whatever the case may be. But Williams was not that dude,

really anymore. Probably had a game here or there, whatever. But as optimistic as i am or hopeful as i am that

he can become a really solid consistent safety he wasn't that last year so why don't we start

with zavier mckinney um again the i i think for myself and for a lot of us when we think about really good players like

mckinney and we were like okay what what would you expect whether you like pff or not just just
