0:00.0	Good morning. It's Sunday, August 17th. I'm Ali Velshi. Tomorrow's important meeting at the White House between
0:06.9	President's Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky just got a whole lot bigger and even more important.
0:12.2	In quick succession this morning, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen,
0:16.3	the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, NATO Secretary General Mark Ruta, President of Finland,
0:21.6	Alexander Stubb, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Kier Starmor, all announced
0:26.1	that they will take part in that meeting. The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the
0:31.0	Prime Minister of Italy, Georgia Maloney, are also reportedly expected to attend. According to
0:36.3	German Chancellor Mercer's office, quote,
0:38.1	the talks will address, among other things, security guarantees, territorial issues, and continued
0:43.2	support for Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression. And in a social media post,
0:48.5	the European Commission's von der Leyen says her participation came, quote, at the request of
0:53.4	President Zelensky. This morning,
0:55.3	von der Leyen welcomed Zelensky in Brussels for a meeting of the so-called Coalition of the Willing.
1:01.4	Most of the other members joined virtually. Now, the Coalition of the Willing is a, this is a map of it.
1:06.9	This is the group consisting of more than 30 countries that were formed after Donald Trump
1:11.5	returned to power. They have the dedicated aim of providing security guarantees to Ukraine in order
1:17.7	to ensure a lasting peace in the event that there is a comprehensive peace deal. Several members,
1:22.8	including the nuclear armed countries, France and UK, have also pledged to send troops to Ukraine as part of a
1:28.8	potential peacekeeping for. Both von der Leyen and Zelensky say that today's coalition meeting
1:33.5	is focusing on those security guarantees, their position ahead of tomorrow's meeting with Trump.
1:39.1	All the newly expected members in tomorrow's White House meeting are members of the coalition
