It's been a weekend of frenetic diplomacy after President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader of Lodemir Zelensky's volatile news conference on Friday.

Zelensky has tried to move on from the fallout, reiterating the need for security from the

U.S.

Meanwhile, European leaders have embraced Zelensky, meeting at a summit

in London over the weekend. Here's CNN's Claire Sebastian with more.

I think there were two key audiences that Europe was trying to balance here. Number one, of course,

Ukraine to try to strengthen their hand. I think the second audience clearly is the US. It is very clear listening to the British Prime Minister Kistama that their pre-approval for this plan was sought.

He spoke to President Trump on Friday night, he said, and on Saturday night.

A lot of pre-work was done before the leaders met in London on Sunday, and so I think President Trump was party to that.

French newspaper LaFiguero is reporting that one of the outcomes from the meeting

is a plan for a potential month-long truce.

The US is suspending offensive cyber operations against Russia.

That's what a senior American official has told CNN, calling the stop in operations and

planning, quote, a major blow, because it'll make the U.S. more vulnerable to potential cyber

attacks from Moscow.
