All right, y'all, we're back again, even though we are on spring break, but we had to do this little bonus conversation. So in this episode, we're going to hear from L.A. City Councilwoman Onises Hernandez, she's returning to the show to discuss her re-election campaign for District 1 and her ongoing fight to put people over profits.

I am just really enjoying being outside. I'm trying to get back into

working out. So I went yesterday to the gym for the first time since having my child, which means

it's the first time I go to the gym in like a year and a half. So I had been swimming a little bit

here and there, doing things here and there, but this was the first time that I walked in there. And I have to tell you, Brenda, it is not the same feeling as it was before I had my son, right? Because before I had my son, I was generally fit and I would walk into this space and felt like I belonged there.

But this time I'm coming in with a totally different body, an entirely different person.

And I walked in there and I had to say I felt really vulnerable and kind of freaked out.
