All right, guys, we've got a special guest on the podcast today. Her name is Eugenia Constantino,

but she let me call her Genie because we're like best friends now. But Dr. Constantino holds five

degrees in theology, including a master of theology degree from Holy Cross Greeth Greek Orthodox

School of theology, Harvard Divinity School, and a PhD from University Laval, where she specializes

in the apocalypse and the ancient church. She's actually a retired professor, but she has been a

professor at different Orthodox institutions. And she was also, most recently, a professor at the

University of San Diego. And she did that for about 20 years. She's the author of Thinking Orthodox

Understanding and acquiring the Orthodox Christian mind. And her most recent book, which we spent

the overwhelming majority of our time talking about today is this book here, The Crucifixion of the

King of Glory, the amazing history and supply mystery of the passion. So I was actually turned on

to her work by Zach who you will recognize from the forging table and Eric Metaxas, who she was

on Eric Metaxas's TBN show. I've been on that show as well. And you know, Eric Metaxas has a very

well-known writer. And so Metaxas is a Protestant like I am, but he's gotten a lot of value out of

her work and scholarship, even though she comes at it from a Orthodox perspective. And we certainly

talk about that because as a Protestant Christian, not raised in the church, I was very unfamiliar

with Orthodox. I was like, okay, it kind of feels like Catholicism, but like more restricted or

something like that. So we get into that detail. But then we really dig into this book and understanding

the unique context from which we get the first century. Okay. What is the Jewish context of what

was happening in that area of the world at that time? What was the the Greek context, the Roman

context? We spent a lot of time talking about what exactly that looks like. And then we start,

we actually started our conversation today talking about manhood because we were talking about
