I'm the host Scott Feinberg and I am coming to you on this episode from the iconic Empire

Hotel on New York's Upper West Side with a pair of terrific guests, the King and Queen of Improv, Eugene Levy, and

Catherine O'Hara. They've known and worked with one another for 42 years

dating back to their time together at Second City in Toronto, then the SNL Challenger TV, then in four

hilarious with Christopher Guest, 1996 is waiting for Guffman, 2000's Best in Show, 2003 is a Mighty Wind, and 2006 is for your consideration.

And most recently on Schitts Creek, a TV comedy series co-created by Eugene with his son Daniel Levy, which is just wrapping up its second season on pop, formerly known as the TV Guide Network.

Over the course of our conversation, Levy, who is 69, and O'Hara, who is 62, reveal that they briefly

dated after meeting at Second City all those years ago.

They also talk about some of their most successful projects apart from one another including for O'Hara,

Beetle Juice, and of course the Home Alone movies.

And for Levy, who can forget the American Pie movies?

As it turns out, Levy also came close to popping up in Home

Alone, something that O'Hara didn't even realize until this conversation.

Both also talk about the rather surreal experience of performing a

nominated song from a mighty wind at the Academy Awards

in 2004 and equally if not more surreal the experience of having Levy's son, who by the way is equally

well endowed in the area of eyebrows providing both of them

with one more great vehicle to share together. So without further ado let's go to
