She's in Berlin as a senior scholar.

Migration.

Migration got AFD of the Bundest to be the number two party looking to the future.

Migration very much drives the opinions of the right of center party

that controls Italy right now. George Maloney is powerful because her party is adamant about

migration being stopped at the sea's edge. There are other countries like Portugal, like France, like Britain, certainly,

dealing with migration. And that means that they are pulling in the oars of the lifeboat and drifting

away, or they are battening down the hatches of the lifeboat and saying no more.

Judy, I'll start with Germany because migration is an issue right.

Again, all the Syrian refugees now have what we're told is a stabilizing country back in Syria.

Is there indication in the Bundestag that the Syrians are welcome to leave,

or have they permanently integrated themselves into the European culture?

No, it's a great question.

First of all, the Syrians are very quiet and integrated,

as far as you can measure integration.

And the kids, I meet them every day when I go out jogging with my dog and they go to the schools and everything.

And there's a, the syrians are not the big issue.

The big issue is the kind of the illegal entry into Germany from pushback, from Afghans or Iraqis or Africans or

others, and they just try to get into Germany. and the asylum system is just not up to it,

and nor is the immigration system.

And so this new German coalition is really trying to resist this.
