I'm Hugh Hewitt back from vacation.

I want to begin by thanking Dwayne Patterson, Mark Davis, Kurt Schlichter for sitting

in for me last week. I was juggling grandchildren. All 13 of us were gathered together, plus

some in-laws, making a grand total of 15. And now the tide has gone out. There's only one left,

and everyone's got to go back and get back to school, and the little ones have got to go to preschool and all that kind of stuff. So the tide went out. There's only one left. And everyone's got to go back and get back to school and the

We had a great, great, three full packed weeks of great deal of fun and joy. It's busy. I'm bruised.

But we are very, very happy that we're blessed with such a wonderful family.

I missed the summit as a result of taking the week off last week, but I did write a column

about it anyway for Fox News tomorrow.
