However, at a recent conference I take, a party conference,

the SPD festival at Falcansay,

Herr Schultz took the stage and all I have is a piece of his remarks.

They're unambiguous, they're straightforward.

They condemn the invasion of Ukraine.

They're adamant about Germany's part.

What is especially challenging about the video, it's on Twitter,

is that they're shouting from the assembled,

what I presume to be, SPD members, looking young and vigorous.

These are the party described as socialist in Germany,

but everything is relative.
