So yesterday we did a number of adab of dua in which I explained very clearly,

if you have them good, if you don't have them good.

We should not be so obsessed with those yesterday's etiquettes that we prevent ourselves from doing dua.

Today we're going to talk about another adab, another of the

a da'ab of doa. But unlike yesterday, today's one, it is strongly encouraged and it is the

default and it is the one that we should strive to maintain. Today's adab that we're going to do,

the question is, how loud should my duas be?

What is the decibels I should use? My vocal cords. How much should I put an effort into making

doa? Here we have explicit commandments in the Quran and from the Sunnah that teach us the default.

And the default, Allah says in the Quran,

Udhu rabbakum, tadurur on, and kufia.

Call upon your Lord in dua, in the state of humility and chufia chufia means gentle voice soft voice

secret voice chufia khafi and Allah praises Zakariya alexalem in the Quran

is nada rabbio nidae and

chaffia when he made doa to Allah a doa that was hidden a doa that was secret

Tehjadid dead silent. And you know when it's dead silent, you can hear everything. Yet when the
