Hello, my chicken saints. Welcome back to our Book of Mormon study. This week we, well, I hesitate to tell you this from the very beginning, but brace yourself. This week's material is not exactly doctrinally drenched. Let's put it that way. This is one of the low points in the Book of Mormon. I thought the small parts of the small plates were bad.

At least, that one was kind of just fly through the history

as quickly as possible as people are playing hot potato

with the small plates of Nephi.

This is more a low point because we are seeing

civilizational decline at its worst.

We are watching the Jaredational decline at its worst.

We are watching the Jaredites barrel towards self-destruction.

And it is so fast, you almost get a sense that Moroni here is impatient with his project.

It's like, can we move forward to chapter 12?

Next week when we study Ether chapter 12, it will make this week's

worth, everything worthwhile. In some ways, we are fasting this week as far as deep doctrinal

content, and we finally get to break our fast next week in Ether 12. It will be delicious.

It will be a feast ready for us. And as they say that hunger is the best flavoring, the best seasoning, well, we're going to get

a little bit hungry this week.

Ether 6 through 11 is hard to read.
