I'm not entirely sure how to introduce this person to our audience.

If you've been listening to us for a while, you know that he arrived at the advent of

the numbers movement in the NBA and he was a young reporter who got access to the Golden

State Warriors and did a lot of interesting basketball coverage.

And quickly I feel like out grew sports writing but still does a lot of sports writing and

does sports writing a little bit better and more counter culture than most people doing

it right now.

But isn't limited to sports writing.

However on his sub stack what happens, it seems like to me, Ethan and you correct me

if I'm wrong by way of welcome that a lot of people still want you to write about sports

because what you're writing about basketball is different than what the mainstream is writing

about basketball.

Whether it's the clutch lakers versus the CAA necks or Adam Silver, stopping locker

room access or any number of things that you've taken a different angle on.

So how should I be introducing you to the audience because you're writing things that other

people are not writing?

where I don't have a plan, I just do.

I really don't and people like to find patterns and they try to figure it out and they think

that there's some sort of strategy behind it.
