All right, so here's the plan. I'm going to preach on these eight verses, and then I have

eight points. But my points are not sentences I'm going to put on the screen. My points are

stories of real people whose lives have been radically transformed, and then they're going to get baptized.

Now when we were building up to April and hearing the amount of stories coming in,

of people whose lives have been changed and seeing how hard it was going to be to baptize everybody

in one Sunday, we were like, well, what if we had this one Sunday to sort of prepare the way for all

of that where a select group of them went ahead and got to share? So we got eight people at this

first gathering and then 12 at the 1045. Both services will be streamed. So if you don't want to

miss one story, you definitely don't have to. And all the services next week will be streamed as well.

But we thought,

what a great picture of what it means for us to be obedient as a church to the words of Jesus the night before he died, that being connected to him, the true vine is the only way to produce

real fruit in and through your life.

And so you're a part of a special Sunday.

we're pumped to have y'all through a screen with us,

and we hope and pray that the spirit of God breathes on this,

not just right now, but over the next month and a half as we build up to Pentecost,

if you need a title for this collection of talks that's going to

begin today, it's called Eternal Fruit. Eternal Fruit bearing is not something Jesus came up with

the night before he died. This is a cover-to-cover theme in the scriptures that's all over the place.

In the book of Genesis, we have the original

narrative of how sin entered into the world through fruit on a tree, which is interesting.
