Hey everyone, this is Mary DeMuth, and this is Pray Every Day, where I have the joy and the privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse.

We're making our way through the Old Testament.

We're now on Esther, and after Esther, we will jump back to the New Testament for a couple of books there, just to kind of keep us in that rhythm of Old Testament, New Testament.

Today, I'm in Esther Chapter 7 in the World English Bible and this is what it says.

So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther, the queen.

The king said again to Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine.

What is your petition, Queen Esther?

It shall be granted you. What is your request? Even to half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
