My son just wrapped up his baseball term as a little league stuff for the year.

I was really fine.

I got to help out a little bit here and there.

It's kind of an odd season, the way everything unfolded, but the little guy who's playing

shortstop and he made a play and it was so heads up and so good.

He flagged down sort of a lazy line drive back behind the position at shortstop and then

alertly realized that the runner had been sneaking off of second too far and made a sharp

throw back to second to get the double play and end the inning and outsert such a premium

at this level.

I mean, nine outs.

So win a ball game at this level, so getting two in three seconds is just amazing.

It really was.

It was a nice play.

I did a great job.

I'm proud of him, whether that ball stays in his glove or not, but I could tell he's

excited and there's a little talk that happens after the game.

He's excited to get to hear his number called for making a key defensive play and the coach

who wasn't trying to be malicious at all just got confused as to who made the play and

gave credit to somebody else.

And that was kind of at a distance taking that in and I could see the physical deflation

in the body language of my son, if you've ever had one of those, a son or a daughter,

you know what that deflation, what that body language looks like.
