Daily life as spiritual practice.

Throughout the day, when we're not challenged by difficult people or circumstances, we invite presence into our lives, like a muscle that gets stronger with use.

It becomes part of our daily routine.

Then when challenges do arise, we don't fall into unconsciousness.

We draw on our reserves.

Eckhart calls it presence power.

More and more your spiritual practice is everyday life rather than a separate time.

And you can have that too, it can be very helpful.

But the most important thing is use daily life.

If you want to divide daily life into it.

Those times when things are running,

okay, you're not being particularly challenged

by difficult people or situations,

and then there are times when you are being challenged

by difficult situations.

They may not be difficult, but you may think they are difficult.

Or you react as if they were difficult,

and then you make them difficult.

And the same with people.

There are people, they may not be conscious.

Your reaction to those people changes the way
