0:33.0	Thank you, it's a pleasure to be on. I'm doing pretty well today.
0:36.0	Nice one, nice one. All right, well, so here we are, John, at the end of the year, and you've got a new book out and I just follow my logic on this right so the publisher sent me this book it's a year long for people who are listening it's called the occult philosophy workbook and Aon Books has given us a discount, which you'll see in the show notes before that's good to the end of the year, not just for the occult philosophy workbook, but for anything in in the catalog so that's OP 20.

1:35.2	aligned right and I figure we might who better to have a wide ranging and useful discussion for people on on what I'm just going to call the essential skills of the magician, which will include, I guess we'll say thoughts and mental skills, but just kind of like what it's going to look like over time the capacities and
1:55.4	understandings of a magician and crucially I think because again it's getting pretty wild
2:00.8	whether these capacities and skills have changed or been
2:05.2	re-prioritized over time in your opinion, particularly heading into let's just
2:09.2	say the precipitous collapse of the West, for instance.

2:15.0	Whether that looks different because, you know, and we'll get to this, but this isn't the first time
2:21.0	such a thing has happened to what we'll broadly call Western occultism, right? Like if anything, it's largely defined by it's made in moments of collapse, her medicine and all the rest of it, right?
2:35.2	So I think it's something that has a lot of medicine for us right now.
2:39.2	So do we want to begin with the definition of a cult?
2:46.1	You would want, you would throw me into the deep end like that.
