Seed starting equipment and supplies so what do you need to give your plants the best shot at life right when you put them into the ground or into peat pots or whatever

gear we're going to talk about in today's show.

So why do we need seed-starting equipment?

When it comes to starting seeds,

this is a challenging part of gardening.

It's very tricky sometimes, and it depends on the seed

as to how to get the best healthiest seedlings that you're going to go ahead

and transplant into the garden or maybe you're growing in hydroponics.

Whichever one, it's sometimes not always best to plant them directly into soil.

You cannot control the climate, you cannot control the weather, you cannot control the

temperature outdoors to some degree.

So maybe a cold snap or heat wave or a frost could kill off your seedlings very easily.

Seeds and seedlings are delicate.

They can be damaged quite easily.

And so the reason that you probably should consider grabbing some seed starting supplies

is because you want a total control over the environment in which your seeds grow.

By controlling the heat, the light, the humidity of your seeds and your seedlings environment,

or you're going to ensure that they have everything they need to grow into strong healthy seedlings

and that those seedlings grow into young plants that are ready to be transplanted.

So the first thing we'll talk about are seed starting containers.
