My name's Aaron, and I'm an alcoholic.

Hi.

And hi. My sobriety date is April 30th, 2016. I have a home group. It's Empire Way, which I think is a pretty

great meeting, and I'd highly recommend anybody go there. I have a sponsor, and she has a sponsor.

So I'm just going to share a little bit of what it was like, what happened, and what it's like now.

So let's see, what it was like was not great.

So I grew up in like a really, it was a pretty good home.

My parents were great parents.

They got divorced when I was two, so I just grew up with that.

They were loving.

They gave me attention.

They really were good parents.

It got chaotic at times, but they were pretty good.

And my mom was a single mom and a teacher, and I very quickly became, I was able to always associate well with adults, but not so well with my peers.

Like whenever I was with my peers, I just always felt like I was out of place.

I was uncomfortable.

I didn't know how to fit in.

And I can, and I could talk to adults like nobody's business.
