Hi everybody. My name is Polly and I'm an alcoholic.

My God's Grace in a program called Alcoholics Anonymous.

I haven't had a drink since April 11th of 1977 and for that I am eternally grateful.

I have a home group. You're going to help me? You're going to hit me.

I have a home group and that's the West Canette group in Jacksonville, Florida.

I have a sponsor and my sponsor has a sponsor and I am so honored to be here.

I am just so honored and Dick, I hope enough people tell you in Barbara.

Thank you for everything you've done.

One of the things that I am sensitive to, I'm one of those alcoholics in the big book

that's just too sensitive and I seem to have this sponge-like body and I just feel energy

and it's so wonderful to be in a place like this hotel and you and Barbara found it that want us

and I think we all feel that and when you feel that it makes it all that more special.

So thank you so much. Thank you Barbara. You guys have just worked so hard

and I just want you to know I appreciate it. I appreciate being able to be a part of it. So thank you so much.

I get to do step 12 this morning and it's the one in the big book that says practicing this step is something you will not want to miss.

I love that first paragraph in the big book about step 12 and you won't want to miss it and I'm so excited to get to talk about this step

because it's something that means so much to me because I'm going to talk a lot about sponsorship this morning

because I have a passion and it's wonderful when I get to come to conferences and I get to share my experience,
