Where am I from?

I'm originally from Dallas, Texas, and then I moved to Dana Point and then I moved to

CLB, and I guess I've been out here in California for a little over two years now, but

yes, originally from from Dallas, Texas, and that's where I got sober and I owe a lot

to the people there in Dallas that showed me and told me the truth about alcoholism.

My sobriety date is March the 25th of 2006, so I will have four years this week, which is unbelievable.

I mean, time goes by so fast.

I remember, you know, when my sponsor started sponsoring me, she had a few months and I thought

that was incredible.

She went like four months and I just, how do you get four months?

And her sponsor had a couple of years and oh my gosh, how do you get a couple of years?

And it just flies by and it's cool because I forget my sobriety date, I really do.

It is a really, really important date and I value the date and I will never forget it.

But I don't have to mark off on the calendar anymore every day that I don't drink.
