I'm an alcoholic.

And I'm glad to be here, glad to be sober.

That's distracting.

I love alcoholic synonymous.

I have some old friends in this room tonight,

and that's kind of fun.

It's always nice to see old friends.

I love being sober.

I want to thank you for inviting me to do this.

It's an honor and a privilege.

People were not inviting me to go anywhere

before I came to Alcoholics Anonymous. I was not a

welcome guest. And so it's kind of cool. Every time I get a phone call, you know, inviting me

to do something, I think, wow, that's amazing. Then the time comes, and then I look at the weather.

I live in the desert. I look at the weather. I think, I don't want to go do that, you know, but I do it because I'm asked.
