Good evening, my name is Melody, I'm an alcoholic, yeah, am I touching it, okay, but I want

to touch it.

If I go too fast, once I get going, I tend to, I'm on the rice and if I go too fast just

stop me, just say slow down, Melody, alcoholic, I haven't spoken in a while, I'm a little

lot of, you know, on this, but I love alcoholics and anonymous so much.

If this is an honor and privilege and if somebody asks me, I say yes and I come out.

I hate dressing up, I hate putting on makeup, I hate putting on heels.

I would rather be in scrubs or sweats, just, you know, but that's not what we do here.

When they ask us to come out, they ask us to dress up and look presentable because in

the old, I'm the old school, you know, in the olden days, in alcoholic, they were not

looked highly upon, you know, in 1939, those guys weren't looking really good and weren't

looked highly upon, they were still a degenerative society and so what they did is they said,

you're going to shoot up and show up and you're going to wear a suit and you're going

to wear a suit and tie.

And that's, you know, I still try to go by that when I take a birthday cake and when

I speak, I try to wear a dress, but all other times, I'm not, I'm more casual.
