I haven't had to take a drink or do any dope since May 11th, 1976 and for that I'm especially

grateful.

I've got to get rid of the money and shoot that light out up there.

It's really a privilege to be here, it's a privilege to be anywhere, but to be able

to participate in a program by alcoholic synonymous is certainly a privilege in an honor.

It's a special privilege to be here this weekend.

I can probably stand here for 45-50 minutes and explain the steps and how they work in

my life and it just be words because what you do speaks so loud, I can't hear a word

you say.

So the main proof of what those steps have done in my life sits within this room.
