alcoholic and when i first came on the program 41 years ago i was'7, now I'm 5 foot 1 and a half.

Well, anyway, I'm a grateful alcoholic, and my whole background was Presbyterianism, and I worked in the church for years, and I went to a Presbyterian seminary, so I know what kind of a building I'm in, whether I know

anything about the rest of it or not.

The important thing that happened to me is that when I was 31 years old, I had cancer,

and the doctor gave me six months to live. And this didn't look very appealing. I had two

darned children and a nice husband. And so they said, that's the finette. I didn't, I never had

drank. I never smoked. Had a finesse. I never had drank.

I never smoked.

Had a good education.

I taught school in Beverly Hills High School, which was great.

It was a lot of fun.

That's practice teaching.

And I had an Involent mother.

And the only reason I bring her up is that I was born in Seattle, started school here.

And one of the cute things about school here was that my neighbor had two daughters, and their names was Caroline and Gladys Knott. And when I went to California, why the only people we knew there was the knots,

the nieces and nephews and so forth, the Knotsbury Farm.

But that was a wonderful introduction to California.
