a psychiatrist. I have both specialties. But also in the course of my medical works I was the

gynecologist on the Kinsey books you remember the Kinsey books on sex so I've been

in sex education and sex counseling in addition to the operating room the

counseling room and all this stuff for many years.

The second author of the Kinsey Books is a man named Pomeroy.

I've known him for 40 years.

And Mickey was in school where Pomeroy, having left the Kinsey Institute in Indiana, had come out here and was the academic dean, where Mickey was studying for her Ph.D. And Mickey

went to Wardell and said, Wardell, I need somebody who is knowledgeable in both the sex field and the alcohol field, and

I don't know of anyone. He said, neither do I. Then he said, yes, I do. I have a man in mind, and he's up

right now in Seattle. She said, do you suppose that we could write to him and get him down here and ask him if he'd be on my committee from my PhD?

And he said, well, he'll be here tomorrow.

Wardle had contacted me to come down to be the medical director of the Institute, where Mickey was studying.

So I arrived the next day and met Wardell, and we went in a big room.

We have some hot tubs, and we undressed and got into the hot tub.

We were talking about old times.

So Wardell said, there's a student here.

I want you to meet.
