Because when I came into Alcoholics Anonymous, I was beaten and I was torn down.

And you put your arms around me.

And you didn't listen too much to what I said, but you absolutely watched what I did.

I have a loving sponsor.

Mo, I love you? I have a loving grand sponsor.

Patty, I love it. For the women that I sponsor, I absolutely love you. Let me tell you a little bit about myself so that you will know that I am alcoholic.

And back home, we lived on a little red clay road in a White House.

We got our water out of wells. We ate buttermilk and cornbread on a regular basis.

We picked blackberries for fun.

And I need to tell you that I'm one happy individual that I'm not there anymore.

Because that stuff just never sat right with me.
