Glad I had you fooled. That's good.

And I want to tell everybody how excited I am to be here at the Canyon Conference.

You may not know me, but I know a lot of you in a roundabout way. You see after Jim and Vanoy left the warm embrace of Oklahoma and headed to Southern California, they started another conference 15 years ago in Lake Arrowhead, California called the Mountain High Conference.

And 10 years ago, when I was 2.5 years sober and scared and not having a lot of fun in AA and

wasn't really sure of this thing was for me.

I got dragged by a sponsor up to that very same conference in Mountain High.

My life changed.

And I started to have fun sobriety and I started to smile on sobriety.

And I started to see people that work spiritual programs really enjoying themselves.

And I love annoyed at death, I tell you.

And it just, I've always heard about the Canadian conference, you know.

I've always heard that that's our granddaddy.

That's where we came from.
