My name is Cricket and I'm an alcoholic. Hi. Hi.

My sobriety date is October the 19th of 1969.

And that's because I've done thing one thing right since I walked into the into the doors of alcoholics and animus.

And it's the only thing I've done consistently right for 24 years and I haven't taken a drink of alcohol.

I've made every mistake sober I ever made drinking. Learned a few new ones in AA.

In AA they call them character defects. When you're drunk they call them illegal.

But that's okay. I'm one of those women that Marty was talking about last night.

But it was only after I got in AA that I really thought that men thought that was supposed to be free.

They said it was a sharing program I thought on darling.

A friend of mine was telling me she spent $12 to come here for an hour.

And I said you can make that back in 30 minutes and she said I'm too old.

I said no we know how to be real grateful.

My sponsor taught me that I was supposed to disclose in a general way what it used to be like, what happened and what it's like today.

And I'll try to do that to the best of my ability.

I do not believe in such a thing as a high bottom drunk.

I do not believe in a low bottom drunk.

I don't think there's any female anywhere that's a member of alcoholics and animus.

That was at a higher bottom than I was.
