Like I said, I'm an alcoholic. My name is Kathy Burns.

I want to thank the committee for allowing me the honor to share my experience with you tonight.

I love Oceanfront Conference and I hate, I miss the tent one. That was

what I heard was a fun one, and I missed that one. But I like being here, and I have a lot of

friends here. I've met a lot of new people, and some of the people I've met here come down to

North Carolina sometime, and I think that's just awesome and you know and Alcoholics

Anonymous is absolutely the most wonderful thing this ever happened in my entire life and

I love what it's done to me and for me. You know I am nothing like I was before I found the program

of Alcoholics Anonymous and I thank you for that. You know I found the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, and I thank you for that.

You know, I love the theme of the conference, spiritual awakening, because that's what I've had.

You know, I've had little change in attitudes that has allowed me to learn to live, happy, joyous, and free,

and saw my skin without something else to cover it up.
