Now we're gonna do something a little bit different than normal today, and this is due to the fact that I've had a

parishioner pass away and I'm in the process of preparing a funeral sermon and a emotional meditation for the viewing service tonight.

So I've had to augment what I do here today.

God to the word of God. Sadly, there's no shortage of crazy things being

said out there. We take the time to slow down, stop, and open up our Bibles to see

if what, well, popular pastors, preachers, teachers, conference speakers, the folks put forward by the

evangelical industrial complexes, those people we need to be purchasing their books and

you know watching their DVDs and using their stuff in

our small group studies things like that to see if actually what they're teaching us

squares with what God's word really says and unfortunately over and again it's a daily exercise here
