Former 10-year, Former television producer in Afghanistan, Rukzar Azami escaped the country in 2015,

after the Taliban killed seven of her coworkers, and she began receiving death threats.

Her family, whom she has not seen in six years, is currently still in Afghanistan.

And she says that she is beginning to lose hope.

She joins me now for her untold story.

I was just talking to a close friend today, and she was asking me the same question,

and I told her, I'm struggling to answer that question now.

Because it's very difficult time. And just expressing it to words, I don't think there is enough words to express what is going

through in my head.

And it's just a difficult time. And I'm trying to stay strong. I'm trying to

stay strong for my siblings, for my mom, for my parents. But yeah, I'm okay. Yeah. What can you tell

us that you feel comfortable telling us about your family and about their situation?
