Good morning. It's Saturday, April 26th. I'm Charles Coleman, Jr. sitting in for Ali Belchie,

and we have got a lot to talk about. Right now, President Donald Trump is headed back to the U.S. from Rome,

where he attended the funeral of Pope Francis alongside former President Joe Biden and other world

leaders. He met with Ukrainian President Zelensky for what the White House called a very productive

discussion. Now, it's day 96 of the second Trump administration, and his lightning fast remaking of nearly all things government has already hit the wrong notes with American voters.

This comes from new polling data.

In a Fox News poll released just this week, the president holds just a 44% approval rating.

Now, for reference, that's lower than Obama, Biden, and Bush at this very

same stage. And in New York Times, Siena poll has him even lower at 42%. Several of his executive

orders have already hit roadblocks. Federal judges block the Trump administration's efforts

to cut off money from

public schools with diversity programs. Judges also blocked his attempt to withhold funding from

so-called sanctuary cities and a judge blocked an order that would give the federal government

more control over elections by requiring voters to prove citizenship when they registered to vote.

But the Trump administration's grudge match with the judiciary branch escalated yesterday

when a Wisconsin judge was arrested by federal officials for allegedly obstructing an arrest

attempt by ICE.

According to a criminal complaint unsealed Friday, the Justice Department is accusing

Judge Hannah Dugan of helping

Eduardo Flores Ruiz, an undocumented immigrant, evade federal authorities when they arrived at the courthouse to apprehend him.

Flores Ruiz was appearing in court to face domestic abuse charges.
