Eric and I go way back. He's on a show now called Euphoria, which is a fantastic show on HBO.

Eric and I work together for years on Grey's Anatomy. We've been friends forever,

and he's one of my favorite people. I hope you enjoy this episode of Tell Me.

That's my nickname for Ellen. Ellen Pompeo Medical Doctor, EPMD, also a reference to the great hip-hop

and EPMD. Yeah, listen, I love on your Instagram when you do the hip-hop references. It's so fun.

Oh, and I mash them up with like weirdos and old timers and actors.

Yeah, EPMD. What was one of their hits? God, I don't know. I know it's Eric Sermon,

the green-eyed bandit that leads that band off the top of my head. I couldn't tell you.

You have a better encyclopedia for that stuff than I do for sure. How's your foray going?

Your foray is great. You're shooting season two. Yeah. Fun, dark. What's going on?

Well, as dark as it is on screen, we have a fun time shooting it. You know, I know the subject

matter can get a little heavy, a little intense, but we have a great time making this show.

And when I think we're like halfway through season two, I don't think HBO has announced

the air date. So I'm not going to step on anybody's toes, certainly not HBO's,

but it's probably coming sooner than you would expect. Oh, good. I'm excited. I love your work
