What is going on, guys? Welcome back to another episode of the Eric Roberts Fitness podcast. I hope that you were having a great day thus far. In this episode, we got a great podcast, I think, which is how to stick to your plan even when you don't feel like it. And I don't give myself credit for much. I have a long way to go.

0:26.0

I am nowhere near perfect. But the one thing that I can hold my chest up high and say is I do the things I'm supposed to do day in and day out and I've done this for the past

0:43.8

at the very least six years of my life but if I think back to even when I first started getting

0:50.5

into working out you could say the past 10 to 12 years of my life,

0:55.7

whether it comes to business, whether it comes to fitness, whether it comes to sleep,

1:01.8

nutrition, whatever it is, I have up to this point, I still have to work at it every day.

1:09.3

See, there I go, not giving myself a lot of credit for

1:11.7

something, but I've built myself into somebody who sticks to the plan and who executes no matter

1:18.9

what. And I want to share with you in this podcast simply what has worked for me. I'm not going to

1:25.9

say this is all going to work for you. And quite frankly,

1:29.8

there's going to be some things in this podcast that people will not agree with me with.

1:35.7

There's going to be some points I make in this podcast or there's going to be some things

1:40.2

that I think that are probably going to go against the norm for what the average regular

1:47.5

person thinks. And that's okay. I'm not saying you have to do everything I do. I just want to share

1:54.2

with you what I do, how I think, what I execute on so that you can take what you want, you can take what impacts you,

2:02.3

you can leave what you don't.

2:04.2

So that being said, I want to start the podcast talking about how I started, how I started

2:13.0

taking my life more seriously. I know that sounds maybe a bit dramatic, but I, to me, it's,

2:22.1

it's really true. You know, when I was 17, 18, 19, that's when I really started to want a lot out of my life. I had very big visions for my life. I had big goals for my life. I never

2:41.0

wanted to just be the person. And I'm not saying this is bad. Once again, you know, people are

2:46.2

going to give me shit for this. But I personally never wanted to be the person who just kind of like, woke up,

2:51.9

did a nine to five, drank on the weekends, like hung out with the boys. And like, that's just not what I,
