a car, all sorts of things. But you may be shocked to know there are other ways to make those

big purchases. I'm John Fuller along with Danny

Werta and you can get a mortgage without having a credit score. Not many people

know about that but financial expert Dave Ramsey does and he explained

why giving your teen a credit card may be a mistake and why you don't need a

FICO score to get a car or house. He sat down with Jim Daly and me to discuss

some great ways to teach your kids about handling money and understanding options.

Is there a role, especially for your teens, to allow them a minimal credit card so they can begin to learn about the use or do you say don't even do it?

Just teach them how to use cash?

Well from an adult or children's perspective

I didn't grow up in church I didn't grow up in scripture

so when I got saved it was radical and I had to decide that the whole of scripture is real or it's not and it's a lordship issue for me.

If I can find it in the Bible, I'm good with it. I can't find it, not good with it.

And I've studied this for 30 years, this money stuff in scripture. I can't find one

single positive reference to debt in scripture.

It's not there.

It's not a sin.

It's definitely not a salvation issue.

I mean, you're not going to hell for a master card.

That's not it.
