Sekeir Starmer, as the man that he appointed British ambassador to the United States.

The architect of the New Labour Project, Peter Mandelson, stands accused of receiving thousands of pounds from disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

And the scandal isn't just about money with a photograph emerging of the former business secretary under Gordon Brown standing half naked in his underpants alongside a woman in a shower robe.

This appears to be an example of sleaze as well as financial impropriety.

Meanwhile, the Epstein files reveal that Mandelson lobbied his own government to scrap a planned

tax on bankers' bonuses, reportedly to help his friend Jeffrey.

Now at three minutes past seven on a Monday morning, can you imagine if this scandal was focused

on a conservative politician or a sitting reform MP, there would be uproar.

You'd never hear the end of it.

But as the Prime Minister urges Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to give evidence to US Congress,

why the wall of silence from Mandelson and these Labour apparatchiks?

Is this an example of Starmer's political misjudgment?

This is a guy that was appointed the ambassador to the United States,

when it was quite clear the guys are wrong.
