Today's story is about a woman named Abigail Francis.

She's an Indian river and a mother of five.

I kind of ran into Abigail looking for, you know, the next story.

And one of our, you know, team members, okay, I know a friend that has an incredible story.

I was like, okay, don't let me hear it. I want to hear it.

And I won't give away too much, but Abigail, her story is pretty incredible.

This is her story.

All right, so I was born in Manama in Bahrain.

So my parents, they're East Indian.

They had to go and work there.

I was Indian in the Khalidji countries. You're like a second class citizen, right?

So my parents didn't have the greatest notions of Muslims, right?

They just thought that those are the people that look down on us, you know,

they don't treat us well. They don't treat us like we're equal.

And that's not what Islam is about at all, right?

So this is kind of like where I also kind of picked up my own biases.

So that's kind of like the mode I grew up in.

And then the Gulf War happened.

And it kind of interrupted my life in a way where for a little while,
